back on for now
The West Coast keeps on pulling me back.
I have been on a whirlwind trip to LA, SF, PDX and to several fundraiser events, a sex party and a music festival. Can you say 5htp or what.
Although the EmergeNsee in Oregon was cute and crunchy with good music and friends I must say that the Midsummer Nights Wet Dream party that Marty and friends DJ'ed at was an awesome eye opener and hella fun... we were the tame ones for once.
I'm back in New York now for a little while then off to Burning Man...damn, this bicoastel thing is insane.

EPIC 4th o' July-Chelsea Hotel rooftop love-in
Had an incredible time with friends on the rooftop of the Chelsea Hotel. Our friend Peter owns a penthouse with a private space on the roof--damn. It was a hedonistic, bourgeois, decadent love-in with big souls and great thinkers.
We then escaped the city for a day trip to Potersville, a gorgeous town one hour away from the city...ONE HOUR away, unbelievable. I never knew New Jersey could be so inspiring.

Arrived here a week ago. I LOVE IT. So fresh, so hip, so full of people just dishing out the energy and vibes. I am at that great point in a place where walking anywhere is a pleasure, its like the beginning of a new relationship and you'll do anything with them.
I am surrounded by Hasidic and Hipsters, two cultures that hold onto their style with fierce devotion and passion. It fascinates me. One holds dearly to basic black, the other extreme 80's revival.
Imagine if both groups woke up one day and had their closets switched?

Form my mothers journal in January 1967. She is with my father.
"We went and parked by the water and took some LSD. We reached such new heights in the light and our learning was so increased. We were united with our souls and we could see other souls mourning their transgressions and sins. We saw all our sins and confessed them and all our sins was equal to another. We lamented at our evil doings and prayed for forgiveness, and to be allowed into the kingdom of heaven (good things are forever)"
This is how my mother became a Christian. She never told me she took LSD.
